This product really gives good color pay-off. I used it for an avant-garde "Under The Sea" inspired look for a photo shoot and my friends really raved about how the color popped. I really like this product.

I was in love with the shade the moment I saw this perfectly fits the "Pantone" trend this 2013. I love using it on my lower lashline to add an "oomph" effect on my hazel eyes. It looks refreshing for me.

V&M Mineral Eyeshadow in Halo color can be a great makeup at night. I like its texture as it blends well with my skin. I had no difficulty applying it. I am just a bit hesitant about the color. I think it's not a safe color that can go well with any dress color and design. I also needed to have a separate container for this as it messed up my whole makeup kit. It was worth trying though.

like the texture but the color not so. it does not irritated to the skin. But not good to carry on the pouch. It will be Messy.

I love this bright shade of blue! It actually reminds me of the beach on a sunny day. And I love that even if you try to put this on the eyelids, the pigments do not fall off that much. Overall, I'd purchase a full-size of this product.

This immediately gets plus points for being paraben free. The texture is also soft and well-milled. The pigmentation is great and it is shimmery. A little goes a long way. However, this isn't the type of color that I would normally wear. It is too striking and attention-grabbing in daytime. I tried using a small amount only but if applied thinly, the color isn't as vibrant anymore and is uninteresting. This is better worn during night time, for parties or debut perhaps. Emerald green is a big color this year so Halo definitely has a place. I wished it had been matte instead of shimmery however so it photographs better at night. I can imagine though that this'll perfect for nature-inspired photoshoots and creative looks that predominantly highlights the color green.

It is highly pigmented, only a few swipe and it cover all my eyelids. I love the sample color in shimmery teal, but it's best to use it during night outs, dinner or on special occasions. Nevertheless, i would buy it because simply I love mineral make-ups.

Like most mineral eyeshadows, this one from Venus & Mars in Halo is highly pigmented. People who aren't used to mineral powders will need to practice applying this to determine how much (or how little) of the product to apply and the amount of control required. Because it is highly pigmented, Halo (a sparkly green) might be too bright for some. There is more frost than green coming out, even with proper blending. I might buy this in a different shade, though. Ultimately, and with practice, mineral powders are quite fun to work with.

I love Mineral products, its easy to apply and use, I like the color when I put it on my eyes... It has a bright teal color and last long. but its too messy..

I think this is a good product because it doesn't contain paraben and other harmful chemicals. I tried using this and the the shade (blue) is very vibrant and pigmented.I just use little dabs just to tone it down during daytime. I think this is a good eye shadow shade suited for night parties. I would like to use a neutral shade though should I buy it, mainly for daytime make up

Blue greens are my favorite color family however, this color is just not my make-up style. I felt it was too bright or, well, too colorful for me. The texture is great though, it goes on smoothly and the pigmentation is amazing even with just a little amount of product. In another color, maybe?

It has a nice highly pigmented color. Very easy to apply and use. With just a little dab of eyeshadow gives a generous application to your eyelids. However, i did not like the color sample because i am more of a daytime makeup person. But i may try other variants since it appeals my sensitive skin.

HALO is pretty good! Pantone color too! I love how I can blend it to my eyes thoroughly. Perfect for people who has big pores. All in all I LOVE IT!

i gave this to my mom to try out and she says that she didn't like the sample color but that it's very pigmented. very vibrant. it also is shimmery and glittery. she says that this color is more apt for night parties and special occasion. it's long lasting. it smells minty and nice. the cons: it's very messy to use.

I had a hard time finding the right opportunity to try out the last product in my latest SampleRoom haul. The Venus and Mars Mineral Eyeshadow in HALO is such a pigmented eyeshadow that is definitely not for everyday office use. HALO is a very bright emerald green shade with shimmers. The sample came in a small tub (same size tub as the V&M lip balm). A little goes a long way with this eyeshadow. The tub is a little unfortunate, though, because it's easy to spill the product. As I said, it's really very shimmery. Since it's mineral eyeshadow, it also is very prone to fallouts, so one must be very careful when applying it. I tried it on my eyes. I just used one swipe of the eyeshadow, and you can see how highly pigmented it is. You can also see some of the fallouts under my eye. I might purchase a full product (5g for Php145) if they have the correct shades I'm looking for. Pros: very pigmented; a little goes a long way; paraben-free Cons: prone to fall out; tub doesn't contain product adequately

Very pigmented, long lasting. I always use my finger for the base lid of my eye (not the crease however), and used with primer they last even longer. The shimmery is just perfect to make my eyes pop. Although a bit messy to use but its just alright because it did not irritate my skin on the eyes.

I was hesitant to get this sample first, because It's not too often that I use mineral eyeshadow/make-up and second, because I don't think I liked the emerald color. But when i got my sample, I liked the packaging right away (it's cute) and I liked the tint of the eyeshadow. One needs only very little to apply it because it's vibrant already. It can be perfect for a day look (apply lightly only) and for a night look (combine with dark shadows to get the greenish smoky look).
