Why do I need to rate and review?

Because you are important to us, Sample Room makes sure that your feedbacks about a certain product are heard; that way, members get to share feedbacks with each other, further strengthening our "informed purchase" goal for you.
As an added value, you will earn points every time you rate and review your samples. These points will enable you to avail the samples that you want.

How to earn points?

Please take note that you are still encouraged to rate and review the samples you've availed to be able to continue in getting samples. Rating the products and writing reviews help other members to decide which product is right for them.

What if the sample does not work for me?

It may be that the product is not suited for your skin type, or your skin simply does not work well with this certain product- not a perfect match. There are so many reasons. As sad as it seems, it is also advantageous on your end that you didn’t have to buy a full-sized product to find out. That is why Sample Room is here, to make sure that when you buy that full-sized product, it is a match made in heaven!

How long will I able to use the sample I acquired?

It would depend on the size of the brand's sample. If it’s too small of an amount, we will make sure that you have at least a 3-day supply of the product to be able to make an informed review about it.


Why can't I get more than 1 sample of the same product?

Sample Room wants to provide opportunities to everyone to try the product. That way, more people will have the chance to try; hence, more reviews will be written, further strengthening our "informed purchase" goal for you.

I like my sample very much. Can I buy a full-sized product from you?

As of the moment, no. For now, as you like your sample, we have included complete details in our blog posts of where you can purchase a certain product.

How long will the samples stay "reserved" in my Account after I checked out (but before payment)?

As all samples are on a "first-come-first served" basis, the system can only hold your orders up to 24 hours after check out. Confirmation of payment is the only assurance that you’ve secured the samples.  If you think you cannot pay and send the deposit slip within 24 hours, please choose another payment method.

I successfully checked out and had a transaction order, can I add another sample in the same transaction order?

Unfortunately, no. Once an order # has been generated, it is already considered as final. If you want to add another sample to the same transaction order, you need to wait for our operations team to manually cancel your old order, so that you can make a new one. It is important to carefully check your orders before confirming them.

Is there a possibility that my account (or name) will be banned from the website?

Yes, we have the right to ban any account with false pretense: a user with multiple accounts, a household with more than two (2) accounts and false identity. We have the right to not notify the account holder as this rule is already included in our terms and conditions, which has been accepted by the member upon registration .


How many days will it take for the product samples to reach me?

Normally, it will take 3-4 working days to reach to a Metro Manila address, and around 4-7 working days for outside Metro Manila.
Ship out days are every TUESDAY, THURSDAY, and SATURDAY only. Please give us 2 business days to process and verify your payment. Cut-off time is until 4:00pm daily.

What is the maximum number of samples I can ship per transaction?

You can ship a maximum of 3 product samples per transaction. 4th product will already be considered as a new transaction.

Can you ship outside the Philippines (internationally)?

No. We want to create a local online community where reviews are all based within the same geographic (this will make the review more authentic as it only caters to the Philippines market)

Why do you charge shipping and handling fees? I though it is for free?

As much as we want to waive all costs for the members, only the product samples are for free. The cost is combined of our internal logistics, handling costs, in-house materials, and shipping costs.

How can I track my order and payment?

Payment and order status can be checked by logging into your Account, under Order Status. Once payment is confirmed, a tracking number will be provided (under Order Status and email) to you after the receipt given from Blitz, LiteXpress, Air Speed and LBC.

Why am I charged in US Dollars in Paypal?

Since Sample Room has partnered with PayPal so that you can make secure, convenient, and reliable payments with your credit card, Paypal always converts the transactions to US Dollars.
The amount quoted in PHP (Philippine Peso) is our best estimate of what will actually be charged on your credit card bill based on prevailing exchange rates.

For over-the-counter local bank payment, how do I send a copy of my bank deposit slip?

Kindly send a detailed email to [email protected] with a clear scanned copy or a photograph of your bank deposit slip (Client's copy) within 24 hours.

Can I pay using Paypal without a Paypal Account?

Yes, although we highly recommend that you have a Paypal account to benefit all its usage ability. Without a Paypal account, all you need is any Debit card/ Credit card that are supported by Paypal.

How will I know if the payment has already been recived and verified?

After payment, please check into your Account, under Order Status after 2 working days to see the payment status.

If your status is stated as PENDING DELIVERY, it means that payment has already been confirmed and verified.

Why do I need immediately pay after I check out?

As all samples are on a “first-come-first served” basis, the system can only hold your orders up to 24 hours after check out. To ensure that you can get your desired samples, it is highly recommended that you make your payment immediately after checking out.

Can I cancel a transaction that I have already pair for?

Unfortunately, once payment for shipping and handling has been made, all transactions are final.

Can I make advance payments for my future orders?

Unfortunately, no. As much as we want to make it easier to our members, paying in advanced will open room for errors which we are avoiding to happen.

Can I combine my 2 transaction orders for 1 shipping & handling fee?

We regret to inform that we don't allow this. 1 transaction order equals to 1 shipping & handling fee.

I paid after the 24 hour lead time without informing Sample Room in advanced about my late payment, and my order has been expired. What will happen to my order and payment?

Once expired, your order is considered cancelled and has already been allocated to someone else. Kindly be informed that Sample Room has the right to not refund the payment or acknowledge it for your next order. Sample Room is aiming to work towards an efficient platform so the 24-hour lead time payment is strictly to be followed.

I made an over the counter bank payment and lost my deposit slip reciept, what will happen to my order?

Unfortunately, we can only process orders for over the counter bank payments if you have a scanned deposit slip receipt. We won't be processing your order without the scanned deposit slip receipt; this is also to lessen errors and malicious users.

I want to purchase more points. WHy can I only purchase points once in every 2 months?

As we want Sample Room to be a community that shares their product discoveries, we still want the members to be part of the gain-more-points through product reviews. If we don’t put a limit to it, members will just keep on buying points and not write reviews anymore, don’t you think?

Why do you need to expire in 2 months the 1000 points that I purchased? Isn't it supposed to be mine already?

We have given you 2 months to choose the products that you want with the bountiful points that you purchased from us; your points will definitely stretch your sampling to more products, and more premium items! By the end of the second month, we are sure that the value of your samples availed would exceed far more the price you have paid for signing up for our VIP membership.

Do you also expire the incentive points I gained during the 2-month period that I'm a Sample Room VIP member?

No. You get to keep the incentive points you earned. Only the original 1000 points are to be expired after 2 months.

Am I assured of stocks when I'm a Sample Room VIP member?

No. As how Sample Room works, everything is on a first come first served basis. BUT, we will make sure that we will only open limited slots for the Sample Room VIP membership for its exclusivity in nature. From time to time, there would also be premium brands that only you can get to avail due to its “premium points” and VERY limited quantity.

I'm very satisfied and happy being a Sample Room VIP member, how to I renew my membership?

We will send you an email for your renewal of membership once your 2 months time limit has lapsed.
