I'm no fan of overly expensive products like this but this one from Laneige really did impress. It has this thick consistency that I thought would be sticky on the skin but it became watery when applied. The smell is not overly powerful as well. What I liked most about it is that it has this cooling effect on the skin when applied. The skin feels hydrated afterwards and not squeaky clean at all (like when you use a toner). I don't even think you need a toner when using this product. Overall, it's good although since I'm not a fan of expensive facial products and I'm not exactly active in nightly facial rituals, I may just have to skip this product.

The past months I've been noticing that my pimple scars remain brown even after weeks and weeks so I decided to try the Laneige Clear C Effector. Vitamin C is a big whitening, brightening, illuminating, anti-aging ingredient in Japan, and probably Korea uses it for the same function based on the description. It is a clear clean-smelling viscous liquid. I love how it feels on the skin after application! I've been using it at night after cleaning my face and that's it. I wanted to make sure it's the Laneige Clear C Effector doing all the brightening and whitening. It doesn't feel heavy, pore-clogging, uncomfortable. After around 5 hours I notice my face feels oily but I don't feel uncomfortable but I do notice it a lot. By the time I wake up in the morning, it's not any oilier. Although my face feels oily, I don't breakout from this! Amazing. My hormone related breakouts/pimples have healed faster instead of being overly persistent. The scars are disappearing way faster than before so I'm pretty happy about the product. I have been sick lately and stressed lately so I'm sure it doesn't help with eyebags. I've been using the sample daily for a almost three weeks now and I haven't even used half of the sample. I think it really helped keep my skin in good condition. I would like to purchase it but I am bit worried of the full size because it'll take months to finish given that Vitamin C oxidizes. It has good value for money. I hope they have a smaller serum size type of packaging.

My skin has always been more partial to Korean and Japanese beauty products, and lately we have truckloads of Korean cosmetic brands in the country, thanks to Sample Rooom we get to sample them before choosing one that works for us. As for Laneige Clear C Effector, I have been using it for almost two weeks now and I'm almost out of the mixture. I'm planning to buy a full size one this weekend if I have the time. When it comes to texture, I like that its oil and water based and it helps to moisturize my dry skin. The brightening and whitening aspect of the product is also great considering my skin takes way to long to get back to its original color after summer outings, just lately I noticed my face getting slightly lighter this past week. My overall experience, I love this product specially the natural, luminescent no makeup look it gives me everyday.

I like the effect of this product on my skin. At first, I don't see any changes but after few weeks, I noticed that my skin glows. Some dark spots on my face is gradually fading as I continue to use. I feel the smoothness also even after a long day. I am using it after a bath and before I sleep. Even if I use it twice a day, I still have some left, so if I gonna buy one, it will not be a waste and my money gets true value.

This is a great addition to my night and morning regimen. Being in my early 30s, this brightens up my face whenever I use it after I wash my face. This takes away the "stress" look from waking up or after work. Brighten up my face and lessens my under eye puffiness. Now I even use it before put on my moisturizer and make up when I go out of the house. Buying this one after the sample given!

I chose to apply this product using my fingers, I feel more confident that the product goes to my face than to the cotton ball . I use it twice a day. And I notice maybe after couple of days, that it brightens my face not merely whitens it. I look great even I just woke up. Sometimes having combination type of skin gets a little oily esp in the morning in some products. And this little bottle seems will stay longer so I'm happy with the sizing. So I'm continously using the product after cleansing and the wait a little second before my moisturizer.

This is the first time I used a product under this category, and I like how my face feels after I apply the product. My skin feels soft and supple, and looks radiant and energized, I would say glowing!, even after putting on make up.
I love that even if the fluid is thick, it is not heavy on the skin and is absorbed quickly.
My only problem now is where to buy this product.

The texture is quite thick with a gel-like consistency. It does not leave that greasy or dry feeling after application and is easily absorb by the skin. After a week or so of using this product I did noticeably see the brightening effect and felt that my skin was softer and moisturized. And most of all this didn't cause any break out.

I've always wanted to try Laneige products! When I first tried this, the effector seemed very thick so I thought it would feel quite heavy on my skin. I was quite surprised to find out that it is so easily absorbed by the skin that there's no time for it to feel heavy! After a while I felt that my face was a lot softer and also more supple. I am loving the fact that it has so many fruit extracts. It's one of those wonder products that is super packed with so many good things for your skin! Definitely recommended. Can't wait to try more Laneige products!

I have finished my sample bottle a few days ago and here are my observations: The slightly gelatinous and thick consistency kinda surprised me although in this form it allows great absorption into the skin. But since I’m putting it on the a cotton ball before I apply it on my face, I sort of add more product to the cotton so I that I can cover my entire face and neck. Although that part seemed I’m wasting some of the product because the cotton absorbs most of it. I love its fruity and flowery smell as well. It’s nice that it doesn’t leave any residue or greasy cast at all so it’s ok to put makeup over it. Whenever I use it, I sometimes felt that I didn’t need any moisturizer to apply before I put on any face make up because it already moisturizes my facial skin. During times that I’ve used it under make up, it is nice that my face powder doesn’t cake or blot. Although I must admit that I haven’t seen any brightening or whitening effect on my complexion after only two weeks of using it, maybe if I’ll continue using it for months then that’s the only time I can see results. I’ve researched about it online and read that those who have used it longer than I did achieve favorable results.

The liquid is soft on skin just like oil which i find amazing, it smells like perfume and it makes skin soft after minutes of application. My skin felt smoother for hours and it would make you want to use it as many times as possible. One effect that I like was when I apply make up afterwards it doesn't contrast with what I am using.

I will repurchase. My husband and I used the sample. My husband said it minimized his skin's oiliness, and as for me, i felt that my skin was refreshed and rejuvenated. I cant say much on its whitening qualities because we already have fair complexion. We love this product!

As suggested, I used this product after cleansing my face, twice a day for about five days now. It comes in a gel-like form and my skin was able to absorb it rather quickly minus the greasy feel. Although there's no significant changes yet when it comes to brightening and whitening, I don't really care because I love how my skin feels like a baby's skin every time I use this. Also, the scent is really something else - it's so fresh and relaxing to the point that it's almost therapeutic. In my opinion, this product is definitely worth the splurge. It's my first time to try a product from Laneige and I'm guessing it won't be the last.

One thing I like about the product is that it doesn't break my skin out. It has a thick texture but it doesn't make your skin oily or feeling sticky. I have also noticed that my skin looked smooth, refreshed, firm and radiant after application.

the first thing that stands out from this product is the pleasant sweet smell. It is quite nice not to experience an attack on the sinuses immediately upon opening the bottle.
The product felt very gentle upon application ,yet did a great job of cleansing make up foundation left behind even after 2 washes of facial foam. so kudos on that.
It is good for sensitive skin, cause it has a very mild feel to it, rather than an astringent bite like so many other 'toners' that leave your skin stripped of natural moistures.

I've never used Vitamin C for my face and i liked it! It feels so refreshing, loved the smell. The texture is just right, it doesn't feel sticky after application which is my problem with most moisturizers and toners. This product really does brighten my skin although i have yet to see the whitening effect..

I was able to exhaust my sample in a span of 1 week, applied twice a day. The first thing that won me over’s the mild yet relaxing scent. It’s such a feat to apply; I found myself looking forward to this skin care step. I like that it’s very light and sets fast, quickly enough for the next step of my regimen. I’m seeing an overall brightening effect but not yet to the point that it dramatically made my pimple marks disappear. Overall, I’d get this on my next trip to the mall because it’s a great booster and a treat at the end of the day.
