The packaging is compact and can fit my pocket which is a plus because I really like balms. The smell is all right, not so strong. I like how its easy to apply and really leaves my hand moisturized afterwards. My only dilemma is the packaging which is hard to open sometimes.

Scent is lemon when you open the tin can. But when applied on my hands, the balm warms, immediately absorbed, gave me a “what just happened” moment, then the scent changed to something else from the warm scent family. Very lucky to have tried this product.

My hands feel deeply moisturized every time I use this. Together with Burts Bees Lemon Cuticle Cream, it gives my hands the pampering they deserve. :) I am not a fan of the scent but I am willing to overlook this because it really does soften my hands. :)

This salve is like a balm which is I think for very dry hands and would probably not suit our weather in the Philippines. It feels a little greasy if you apply too much. The smell is also not that appealing. I think it would work for the heels of the feet instead of hands.

I was so excited to try this product because I have heard good reviews about the Burt's Bees brand. Here are my observations: 1. The tin can is a bit tricky to open. Sometimes, it's frustrating to twist and twist the cover, only to find that there's a trick to open it with less difficulty. 2. The scent reminds me of the ointments for insect bites/headaches that are available in pharmacies. I am not too fond of the scent, but it is tolerable. 3. I thought this was greasy for me. I couldn't say that this moisturizes my hand. My hands felt the same after each time I apply this.

This product moisturizes well. However, I don't like the sticky feeling upon application. Also, there are times that the tin packaging is quite difficult to open.

I find it a bit greasy but it definitely worked on my dry hands. Found another use for this, it worked wonders too on my dry elbow skin. I will repurchase this product. I kind of struggle though whenever opening the lid but it is not a biggie.

As mentioned in my previous reviews, I have the trifecta of dry skin and one of these is dry hands. It didn't help that my office is borderline ice box but this product really helped moisturize my hands. It also helps that it smells so relaxing somit also helps ease up office stress.

I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

This is apparently one of Burt's Bees tried and tested products over the years, however, I don't see the appeal. The packaging is in a tin can, and can easily be popped into a bag if need be. It looks like a balm, but turns into a sort-of oily texture once it comes into contact with your body heat. The main thing I disliked about this product is the smell, which is very medicinal. It moisturized my hands well enough, but I guess those with rougher skin or callouses can appreciate this more. I've read somewhere that this could also be used to relieve sore muscles, but have yet to try it out.

I have a mild eczema that makes my hand dry and finding this product is like a celebration for me. I like its scent and it really moisturizes my dry hands. I also used this in my crack heels. Very nice product!

I am so excited to try this Burt’s Bees Hand Salve. The scent is subtle, which I really like. I was surprised that it is like a balm, thus it really gives good moisturization when I applied it all over my hands. It is a bit sticky, but not uncomfortable. I would definitely recommend this for very dry skin because it will really restore the moisture back.

I first thought Burt's Bees Hand Salve would be greasy and sticky like the usual balms, but it isn't. I apply this by scooping a little product to my palm, rubbing the palms together until it melts and my palm is coated. Then I massage it on the back of my hands and fingers. It leaves a very thin layer of oil, it's not sticky or slippery and doesn't stain paper. It protects the skin from drying because of frequent hand washing but it's not very moisturizing like a hand cream. For me it works best at bedtime to repair the hands, the lavender scent adds to the relaxing effect . When I wake up my hands feels so soft and plump.

I kinda expected that there would be some oily film left on the hands after applying but that did not bother me as it was just shiny and not too oily. What bothered me was the difficulty in opening the tin can. Sometimes it was easy and sometimes it was hard that you give up using it. The scent is something to get used to and sometimes I wonder if my seatmate could smell it.

The scent was fine. However, I guess the product doesnt sooth me since I prefer applying lotion rather than this one. That's why I am thinking twice If I should buy this product in the market

I like the scent- there's a hint of eucalyptus or lemon or something like that. But I did not see any difference at all to my hands. I also don't like the greasy feeling after I have applied this on my hands.

I don't like how oily my hand gets whenever this was applied. It does not glide smoothly, nor does my hand feels soft after. The packaging is also lacking in terms of functionality. I had a hard time scooping out the product.

The moisturizing and relaxing effect of this product for the hands is commendable. But its scent, for me, is not ideal for everyday use. It felt like I'm using a medicine balm for my hands. I just use this when I'm at home.

The scent was more favorable for me. I love using it at night before I sleep since it helps me relax as well. However, I do refrain from using it at work since it doesn't work well with my perfume. It does however makes my hands feel more supple and smooth and my husband noticed it too.

The salve is easily absorbed by my skin and cuticles. It has a very mild scent and I can bring out in public, not feeling like I'm overpowering an area with heavily scented lotions. I don't put the salve on my palms during the day, as it can feel oily, but it's best as an intensive treatment at night.

The smell was a bit strong at first but after just a few minutes, the scent appeals to me. The smell was a bit therapeutic. At first i thought it would be very heavy on the skin and oily but it was not. It felt smooth and light. I would buy this but a great consideration is the price.
